Job Summary
The
Accessories QA Team is looking for a creative and motivated QA engineer
with excellent problem solving and communication skills. You will join a
dedicated team responsible for testing iPod / iPhone / iPad integration
with car stereos. This position requires a dynamic individual with
strong technical skills who displays a passion for the automotive
experience.
Key Qualifications
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of SQA methodologies & practices
- Demonstrated ability to own a complete functional area of an application or product
- Excellent communication skills (ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience)
- 3+ years of SQA experience
- Must be detail oriented
- Experience testing USB, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi
- Knowledge of iPod accessories and third party peripherals
- Experience testing consumer audio and video technologies
- In-depth understanding of OS X, Windows, Unix, iOS
Description
- Test iPod / iPhone / iPad integration (wired and wireless) with car stereos
- Create, modify and execute tests (including ad-hoc and interoperability)
- Write test plans and other test documentation as required
- Regress, isolate and report issues found during testing
- Work closely with QA, Developers and Project Managers
- Be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process
- Report status on a regular basis
Education
- BS Computer Science degree or equivalent
