Job Summary
Come
join our group as a developer for our Infrastructure Monitoring
application. We're looking for candidates with experience in developing
large scalable datastores, specifically for the continued development
of our internal monitoring solution which tracks/reports/alerts on all
infrastructure services (network/systems/storage) within Apple.
Key Qualifications
- Expertise in designing fault tolerant and performant datastores
- Fluency in one or many of the following: perl, C, C++, python
- Excellent working knowledge of systems, networking, automation and testing.
- Strong working knowledge of MySQL and NoSQL solutions
- Superior Analytical/Troubleshooting skills
- Expertise in data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis
Description
Join
us as we build the next generation infrastructure to support iCloud,
iTunes, and other Apple internet services. We're a small team focused on
the development of standards-based software defined datacenters and
networks at global scale. We're looking for candidates with a strong
background in system administration and deep experience with IaaS to
bootstrap the operational support of these services. You will work
closely with the development team to define support procedures, develop
tools and automation, and drive operational requirements and priorities
for this exciting project. Strong communication skills are a must for
this role.
Education
BS in Computer Science, MS is preferred
