Serves as direct supervisor of team supporting the GE SOA development and operations. Responsible for delivery of SOA architecture strategy for the GE organization. Drives solution identification, feasibility analysis, and implementation recommendations. This position will also create and govern GE SOA standards and implementation processes across GE.
  • Partner with GE ERP leaders & business integration leads and IT PMs to architect, design & deploy SOA (BPM / BPEL / ...) integration services
  • Provide organizational leadership in the planning, evaluation, design, development, implementation, and operation of IT solutions
  • Work with application teams and business leaders to formulate project plans and strategy
  • Work effectively across various support teams and with senior management
  • Participate in the technical mentoring, training and education of team members
  • Ensure our GDC vendors provide appropriate level of service. Measuring the progress of GDC engagements, and correcting where necessary
  • Mentoring and growing IT talent
  • Provide technical leadership and support for all planned and unplanned events
  • Research SOA technology, determine business requirements, propose changes, and develop migration and implementation plans
  • Provide evaluation, architecture, and integration skills to implement and support 3rd Party products within the Oracle framework
  • Contribute to overall capacity planning and configuration management of the supporting infrastructure
  • Work with the CIS Security Team to promptly address any security issues
  • Identify and lead automation of repetitive processes to minimize errors and maximize service delivery
  • Document processes and train team members within an onsite / offsite resource model
  • Apply Six Sigma methodology to all aspects of the applications
  • Basic Qualifications:
  • Degree in Information Systems, Finance or related discipline plus a minimum 3 years of hands-on IT work experience (or a High School Diploma with a minimum 7 years of hands-on IT work experience)
  • Minimum 2 years of Oracle SOA Suite and Oracle BPM Suite experience or suitable integration knowledge
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with system analysis, design and modelingEligibility Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of financial systems, financial cycles and processes
  • Experience with complex, global system implementations
  • Knowledge of Oracle / Hyperion toolsets (DRM, HFM, Planning, Essbase, etc.)
  • Knowledge of other Financial Systems (I.e. Oracle Financials, SAP, OBIEE, ODI, ERPi etc.)
  • Proven experience in onshore and offshore team management
  • Sarbanes Oxley experience desired
  • Experience / knowledge with Financial Data Quality Manager (FDM)
  • Excellent influencing, interpersonal and communications skills (both written and verbal) with all levels of an organization
  • Self-starter - requires minimal direction to accomplish goals
  • Experience working with others on a global basis
