Job Summary
Apple Operations
is looking for procurement analyst with relevant experience in
procurement, data analysis or project management, and PLM tracking and
database tools. The ideal candidate for this role has a combination of
strong business acumen and technical knowledge to develop tools and
processes that deliver detailed analyses to enable informed
decision-making and actions to improve cost. In addition, the role will
support supply-demand management, spend and cost saving analysis and
analysis.
Key Qualifications
- Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Managing suppliers and developing a sound buffering strategy to ensure supply continuity.
- Communicating with cross-functional teams in the US and around the world to carry out real time supply management strategy.
- Development of comprehensive database to track all spend details, use to generate regular pivot reports.
- Development and maintenance of templates to support the Global Supply Managers
- Tracking and monitoring product cost
- Tracking and monitoring sample request for development builds until engineering validation is complete
Description
Experience/Qualifications
required:
Fast learner
Strong experience with data access/preparation in Excel
Experience with FileMaker is a plus
Comfortable and efficient working in a fast-paced environment
Strong time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines
and handle the pressure of last minute requests with little to no
supervision
Detail oriented with the ability to see how the details fit into the
overall, big picture.
Strong project management skills

Innovative and strategic approach to all tasks
Education
BA/BS required
MBA a plus
