The Mobility Engineering Leader will be
responsible for running mobile technologies including AirWatch MDM,
BlackBerry Enterprise Server, Good for Enterprise, Exchange Activesync,
Internet Security & Acceleration, System Center 2007/2012, and
Zenprise. This is a critical role that will focus on problem resolution,
operational service metric improvements, and capacity planning to
ensure requirements are met for regional/technology introductions
related to the SAND and User Experience initiatives.
Act
as the Level 4 engineer in operations escalation chain, responsible for
troubleshooting all technical incidents beyond the expertise of L2/L3
teams. Manage mobility vendor relationships on long-term problem
resolution code fixes
Lead India-based GDC mobility support team to deliver
world-class break-fix operations and customer support. Responsible for
driving team performance to meet ISS service level goals
Provide on-call availability to lead the troubleshooting for all Priority-1 and high visibility business impacting outages
Provide project support to complete Transition to
Operations on new initiatives; ensure no impact to end-to-end service;
includes pilot break-fix and feedback reporting for new mobility
technologies
Act as face to customer to provide expert-level support for all issues affecting GE executives and officers
Proactively identify improvement opportunities to achieve a 15% reduction in year-over-year average BTTR metrics
Act as change facilitator for change requests affecting
Mobility infrastructure and services. Drive quality through change
validation to ensure first-time-right
Lead design and implementation of service requests from GE Business customers
Complete quarterly demand and capacity planning reports covering all infrastructure elements
Participate in the planning and execution of annual Business Continuity and DR testing
Manage system documentation life cycle to ensure best practices are implemented and drive support improvements at L1/L2/L3
Identify and influence simplification, drive compliance and
stabilization; including, management of production status updates,
enablement of customer requirements, assessment of current business
infrastructure, and guidance on experience improvement
Leadership in execution of solutions that achieve business requirements while in accordance with the overall ISS strategy
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other technical discipline
Minimum 5 years technical hands-on experience supporting or delivering mobility services in a large, outsourced environment
Minimum 2 years of experience work with Exchange
Activesync, and BlackBerry with hands on experience configuration and
deployment

Packet captures, BlackBerry 10
Ability to manage technical issues in complex, difficult or stressful situations
