Core member of GE Treasury Tax Team responsible
for managing GE Treasury’s international tax profile, which encompasses
all aspects of international tax planning, including structuring and
planning for M&A, cash repatriations, US foreign tax credit and
subpart F planning, transfer pricing, and foreign tax minimization.
Support management of GE’s global tax profile
Structuring and planning for M&A, reorganizations, dispositions
US foreign tax credit planning
Support GE’s efforts in managing the impact from US legislative reforms
Foreign tax minimization and integration with GE’s US tax position
Partnering with GE’s businesses in managing their own global tax opportunities and challenges
Basic Requirements:
JD (law degree) with minimum of 8 years tax planning experience
(or in lieu, CPA with minimum of 10 years tax planning experience )
Experience in corporate tax, including knowledge of US and international tax planning and tax compliance issues

Previous nationally-recognized law firm or Big 4 experience;
CPA and/or accounting familiarity;
Prior experience in international tax matters, including
transfer pricing, foreign tax credits, subpart F and international
M&A;
Prior experience in managing the tax affairs of a complex, multinational company;
Prior government (IRS or Treasury) experience;
Prior experience in working with partnerships and limited liability companies.
Experience working in a matrixed environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
Initiative, critical thinking skills and enthusiasm.
Adaptable/flexible: open to change in response to new
information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or
ability to work in ambiguous situations
Integrity: Accepting and adhering to high moral,
