This is a senior marketing position that will
work with GE businesses and development teams to drive branding and
strategic initiatives for an emerging category of Industrial Internet
software and service solutions.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
Report to the Commercial Strategy leader, GE Global Software
Drive GE’s umbrella Industrial Internet brand positioning, messaging, and content creation
Monitor brand health measures and reportout to GE Software and GE Corporate leadership team
Work closely with GE Software and GE business Marketing Communications teams to execute outbound marketing content strategy
Lead Digital marketing execution of GE’s Industrial Internet umbrella brand
Work with GE businesses to develop their positioning and
messaging strategy ensuring consistency with GE’s umbrella Industrial
Internet brand positioning
Engage with businesses on key commercial efforts as defined
by Commercial Council, Growth Council, Services Council, Software
Council, and Corporate Senior Leadership team
Engage with businesses on key commercial efforts as defined
by Commercial Council, Growth Council, Services Council, Software
Council, and Corporate Senior Leadership team
Drive special projects and key strategic initiatives for GE Software
Lead training, coaching and development of Software and Services brand managers across GE
Bachelor's
Degree in Business or Computer Science (or High School Diploma / GED
with a minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial roles for software
and/or services industry)
Minimum of 10 years of related industry experience
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a technology branding role
Eligibility Requirements:
Ability and willingness to work out of an office located in San Ramon, CA
Ability and willingness to travel, as required

Master's Degree
Knowledge of enterprise software branding and messaging models
Strong digital marketing skills (search optimization,
social media marketing, campaign management, analytics & performance
tracking)
Experience with managing complex strategic initiatives that require change management and excellent communication skills
Previous experience in working in a highly matrixed, complex environment
Creative marketer who thrives at the intersection of business value, technology, and innovation
Work experience in industrial sectors
Knowledge of big data, analytics, and internet of things technologies
Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously under deadline constraints
