The Salof Sourcing ERP Leader will be responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity as well as follow an individual work plan, and meets day-to-day short-term objectives. In this role you will have the ability to resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
In addition, you will:
  • Be responsible for the basic sourcing service and analysis, assist sourcing team to finish daily works
  • Assist in the execution of the Sourcing digitization plan
  • Work with Sourcing Program Leader –Digitization to design, deploy and support Oracle ERP PO modules and digitization projects to drive process / productivity improvement for the sourcing organization
  • Understand strategies for assigned commodities and proactively drive initiatives to meet Sourcing objectives
  • Identify and qualify new suppliers
  • Assess supplier capabilities and make recommendations on supplier acceptability
  • Implement sourcing standards including process and execution, synergies for cost out
  • Drive productivity opportunities with supply base to deliver cost out goals
  • Support commodity buys
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 additional years of experience in a Sourcing role)
  • GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.
  • Additional experience in Sourcing and writing fulfillment reports using MS Access, SQL or Visual Basic
  • Efficient with Oracle 11.3, COPICS, DART and AP systems
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • PC and database proficiency
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Six Sigma training (GE Employees only)
  • IMLP / EIMP graduate (GE Employees only)
