The Manager of Investment Analysis is
responsible for leading a team of field examiners and collateral
analysts, as well as outside vendors, to complete comprehensive due
diligence and account monitoring audits of ABL (asset based loan)
customers. Works closely with underwriters, account managers and
customers to uncover collateral risk and develop mitigation strategies.
Plan and oversee field examinations of existing and prospective GECA clients
Allocate team resources in the most effective manner,
define expectations, review work papers, and provide technical
assistance to team members.
Provide coaching, training, development and feedback to
investment and collateral analysts both remotely and directly in the
field.
Provide ready response to Account Managers to assist in monitoring of troubled accounts.
Provide ready response to Underwriters to assist in evaluation of new business volume.
Communicate with risk management and/or underwriting deal
team results of audit procedures and/or audit issues raised during the
course of the field audit.
Lead on campus recruiting activities that include job fairs, info nights and interviews of interested candidates.
Participate in special projects/ high profile audits and
business initiatives with other functions such as origination,
underwriting, business development, and technology.
Develop solutions to audit issues that provide value to all
customers, and continue to find/develop audit efficiency improvements.
Drive understanding and adherence to company and operations policies/procedures.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years accounting, audit, finance or underwriting experience
YOU MUST BE ABLE TO SATISFY THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 19 OF THE FEDERAL DEPOSIT INSURANCE ACT.

Asset based lending and collateral analysis experience
Ability to teach and mentor a team
Asset based lending and/or cash flow audit or underwriting experience
Retail Experience (i.e., credit related experience with the retail industry)

Experience in auditing multi-division and multi-location companies entering into lending transactions with complex structures
