In your role as Lead Sales Representative, you
will be responsible for originating and closing financial transactions
with new, existing and former customers within an assigned target market
to develop new business, and retain and penetrate existing business
within the Transportation Finance industry. Territory will cover the
state of Iowa, with a preference of having incumbent reside in Des
Moines, IA.
Generate new deal leads and prospects via cold calling from assigned database or territory
Actively manage assigned database ensuring all accounts are properly scoped and classified
Develop and cultivate strategic relationships with prospects and customers.
Develop and implement sales strategy and tactical plan for maximizing deal flow in the assigned database or territory
Partner with cross functional teams in order to facilitate the execution of deals
Perform modeling/forecasting, financial statement and cash flow analysis in order to determine deal feasibility and structure
Price loans and leases using Pricing Model and prepare Customer proposals
Bachelor’s Degree required (or high school diploma GED and a minimum of 3 years' of sales experience)
Minimum of 2 years of sales experience {or minimum of 2 years of transactional experience in financial services).
Comprehensive knowledge of industry-related financial analysis and risk, tax and legal principles and analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
