Job Summary
The
Procurement team is seeking experienced Business Analyst to manage
complex, global initiatives in procurement planning and execution.
Key Qualifications
- Ability to design/develop database applications for data reporting and analysis
- Ability to model and analyze data structures to develop business intelligence reports
- Experience in project and process management
- Proven experience as a change agent, having effectively implemented change in large cross functional organizations
- Procurement background in a plus, anticipate customer needs
- Filemaker experience a plus
- Strong analytical and business process skills
- Facilitate project related testing and roll out
- Act as a liaison between the business teams and IS&T to ensure that the business requirements are met by the proposed technology solutions
- Analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated systems, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements
- Ability to work with ambiguity
- Self-motivated, driven individual who is comfortable working in a global, matrixed, fast-paced environment
Description
The
Procurement team is seeking experienced Business Analyst to manage
complex, global initiatives in procurement planning and execution. The
candidate will be working with cross-functional and cross-organizational
teams to define, build and roll out innovative technology and business
process. A strong candidate will have a solid experience with
technology and product management and possess a strong written and
verbal communication skills as well as superb skills in business
analysis, procurement, project management, process improvement, and
change management.
Key responsibilities include:
Analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated systems
Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing
systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user
requirements
Configure system settings and options
Plan and execute unit, integration and acceptance testing
Create specifications for systems to meet business requirements
Design details of automated systems
May provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems.
May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems
issues.
Education
Requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree.
MS in Supply Chain Management or IT is a plus
