Administrative Associate III for the West and Central Africa, Middle East and North Africa (WCA/MENA) Global Business Unit (GBU) serves as the primary staff assistant to the WCA/MENA Business Unit, supporting the GBU Director and other program leadership and management staff in the GBU. Works closely with the Administrative Associate III for the Nigeria Program with whom the WCA/MENA GBU work load is coordinated and shared.

Administrative Associate III for the West and Central Africa, Middle East and North Africa (WCA/MENA) Global Business Unit (GBU) serves as the primary staff assistant to the WCA/MENA Business Unit, supporting the GBU Director and other program leadership and management staff in the GBU. Works closely with the Administrative Associate III for the Nigeria Program with whom the WCA/MENA GBU work load is coordinated and shared.
Major Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provides routine administrative support to WCA/MENA GBU Director and other GBU management staff based in the DC and the NC offices.
- Schedules and arranges meetings for the GBU Director and other management staff, including preparation of agendas and compiling meeting minutes.
- Designs and produces general correspondence, memos, tables, graphs, etc and proofreads copy for spelling, grammar and layout, making appropriate changes.
- Coordinates special projects (e.g. planning and coordinating conferences, creating brochures) at the request of management.
- Maintains databases and spreadsheet files as requested by management.
- Communicates and manages timetables and milestones for the GBU management staff and assigns work and task responsibilities for projects as directed by the GBU Director.
- Serves as a resource to others on a variety of office technology, including office equipment and software.
- Utilizes, reconciles and manipulates data for management reports from different internal and external sources.
- Acts as a liaison between the GBU and other departments and outside agencies, including high-level staff such as CEO, CFO, COO and other Group Directors.
- A minimum of five years' related experience
- Associate's degree or its international equivalent in business or related field
- Experience in monitoring the use of expenditures to meet organizational objectives
- Significant experience with program policies and procedures affecting operations
- Demonstrated experience in manipulation and use of data for management reports
