Value Process Engineer Leader (VPE) will demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment. In this role, you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to affect short-term and some long-term business goals.
In addition, you will:
  • Work concurrently with Engineering to develop manufacturing processes and planning/instructions for tubes & ducts
  • Lead a team of Engineering Techs to support all NPI and provide manufacturing process support at one of three facilities on the Unison-Dayton ELANO campus
  • Develop tubes & ducts manufacturing processes for proof of concept to engine test hardware and OEM production.
  • Execute with limited guidance the analysis / evaluation of assigned projects that meet business standards, practices and procedures and the product / program requirements
  • Recommend approach to meet the technical and program requirements
  • Formulate and implement plans to achieve technical requirements, schedules and contract commitments
  • Develop action plans to anticipate and respond to problems
  • Provide technical guidance to other personnel and assigned teams; mentor others in the organization
  • Ensure proper documentation of technical data is generated for the assigned projects and / or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
  • Monitor and communicate project status, business issues and significant developments
  • Lead or participate in organizational efforts in assigned projects and / or tasks
  • Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited College or University
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in an Engineering position

  • Experience in process development of tubes and ducts.
  • Demonstrated capability in manufacturing and delivering tubes and ducts.
  • Experience in tooling development and special processes.
  • Ability to interpret complex blueprints and technical specifications
  • Experience using Unigraphics or similar design software
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to guide and influence others
  • Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems
