Job Summary

The Facilities Planning Manager will be responsible for space planning, furniture management, move management and small facilities projects in a corporate environment. This person will also work with the Austin Site Manager to develop strategic space plans that support business functionality.

Key Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience with strategic planning, forecasting, and projects in a Corporate Environment.
  • Experience managing vendors, contractors and other move/planning staff.
  • Ability to foster relationships with key contacts, understand the business and advocate customer needs internally to ensure expectations are met.
  • In-depth understanding required of business portfolio, space utilization and future needs, projects, and associated potential budget impacts.
  • Prior design or construction experience, understanding of applicable codes, and building HVAC and electrical systems.
  • Experience with project scheduling, estimating and budgets.
  • Experience managing designers, contractors, engineers.
  • Experience with various project management methodologies.
  • Ability to be flexible, creative and adaptable to change.
  • Experience procuring vendor and contractor services and negotiations.

Description

Space Planning: •Documenting, analyzing and reporting Space Metrics. •Alignment of space allocation and projects with overall master plan. •Document and maintain site master record drawings and occupancy data. Customer Relations: •Main customer contact for space/furniture/move requests. Furniture Coordination: •Maintain and manage furniture standards, inventory, purchasing and disposition. •Management of furniture installation projects, reconfigurations and vendors. •Support ergonomic requests and installations. •Review customer requests for furniture and modifications. Move Management: •Develop and manage move process and procedures. •Manage all moves at the site.
