We have an exciting leadership opportunity on a team that is defining how we use analytics to transform customer experiences, accelerate business growth and optimize ROI. We are looking for a data-driven leader who has a proven track record of leading a high performing team with excellent analytical skills and web analytics experience. The Group Manager of Web Analytics will lead a talented team that influences and enables key decisions across Marketing and Product organizations to plan and evaluate the effectiveness of our go to market strategy and end to end product experiences. You will be responsible for delivering customer growth and conversion goals through end to end customer funnel analytics and hypothesis driven experimentation. The team’s ability to utilize innovations and insights to drive action are critical to the Turbo Tax team delivering winning plans.


Responsibilities:
  • Partner with product managers, marketing, and engineering to enable decision support and key customer insights through web tracking metrics.
  • Evolve key web metrics as new website, product features and business need change
  • Construct and maintain dashboards that optimize opportunities and influence business decisions to deliver double digit growth for $1.6B online business Answer ad-hoc analytic questions and train users to self serve standard reports leveraging Tableau
  • Ensure site tagging is optimized to provide crystal-clear visibility into the impact and value of new initiatives and product releases
  • Pursue data quality, troubleshoot data validation, and see issues to resolution Collaborate with internal and external partners regarding data collection and reporting practices
  • Develop consistency and best practices for data availability and integrity across engineering teams and throughout the organization.
  • Drive testing of new, emerging opportunities through rapid experimentation and development of best practices.
  • Partner with cross functional partners across the business to define learning objectives, determine methodologies and key metrics to support learning plans, and deliver impactful analyses.
  • Coach and develop analysts in line with the Intuit Leadership Success Profile and analytics competencies.
  • Work closely with leaders from our research teams to uncover customer insights, develop key metrics and drive measurement and analyses.
  • Take an active role in internal analytics communities to share and adopt best practices and innovation across Intuit.

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years experience in web analytics decision support and website optimization for online/ecommerce businesses.
  • Proven track record of developing and leading high performing team.
  • Deep subject matter expertise with SQL and Omniture Site Catalyst; Understanding of complex web ecosystems, best practices, and ability to put this knowledge into action
  • Ability to tell stories with data, educate effectively, and instill confidence in recommendations, motivating others to act on them
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills: able to develop and use structured approaches to identify root causes and recommend resolutions: can present results in meaningful terms
  • Project Management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and key deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
