This group is dedicated to providing medical information and consultative support to a number of J&J's pharmaceutical companies. The company's mission is to create the pre-eminent model of scientific excellence in the promotion of public health.

Each student will be exposed to the Medical Information area to:
-Understand the pharmaceutical industry organization
-Demonstrate competence in analysis of scientific literature
-Develop medical writing skills
-Verbally communicate scientific information to healthcare professionals
-Prepare training materials & conduct presentations for industry personnel
-Understand adverse event reporting within pharmaceutical industry
-Participate in medical communications projects

Qualifications


Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited college (not necessarily taking classes) and pursuing a degree in Pharmacy. Candidate is required to have completed at least 4 years of a 6 year PharmD program and have a strong interest in medical writing/drug information. Student must be available for 10-12 weeks from May/ June to August and have the ability to work full-time during that time. Candidate is required to have good verbal & communication skills. A minimum 3.0 GPA preferred. Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite is preferred.

Students must be able to provide his/her own transportation to/from their work location. Students must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require future sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H1-B status) now or in the future.
