Job description

Under general direction, the Project Manager - Intermediate will be responsible for:

• All aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects.
• Taking projects from original concept through final implementation.
• Interfacing with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services.
• Defining project scope and objectives.
• Developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
• Conducting project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
• Ensuring adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
• Managing the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
• Providing technical and analytical guidance to project team.
• Recommending and taking action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.

Work location is in Vicksburg, MS.
Selected candidates may not need to travel for all projects outside of their metro area. However, all candidates must be able and willing to travel based on assigned project demand. Travel requirements may vary but could be up to 100%. Candidates are not able to refuse project based on travel

Required

• High School Diploma/GED
• At least 5 years experience in line manager
• At least 3 years experience in defining project scope and objectives
• At least 3 years experience in developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
• At least 3 years experience in conducting project meetings
• At least 3 years experience in recommending and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
• U.S. citizenship required
• English: Basic knowledge

Preferred

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 5 years experience in defining project scope and objectives
• At least 5 years experience in developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
• At least 5 years experience in conducting project meetings
• At least 5 years experience in recommending and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
• Security clearance of Secret - Active
• English : Intermediate
