Description
Serve Virtual Enterprises, Inc. (an American Express Company), seeks Business Systems Analyst, Digital Commerce in New York, NY to analyze business needs to create logical specifications for Digital Commerce product line. Research, analyze and create technical designs and logical functionality. Partner with stakeholders (Product Development, Product Management, Risk, Compliance, Privacy, Finance) to analyze and write business requirements into standard functional and system specifications, process documentation and use-cases. Lead and manage requirements discussions in line with the overall project timelines. Write and test technical requirements.
Qualifications
Position requires Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related field, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in business systems analysis. Experience must include demonstrated leadership liaising between product management, development and QA teams and utilizing release management tools such as MS Sharepoint, TFS and MS Project. Experience must also include experience identifying gaps and utilizing querying languages and tools, including SQL, SQL Management studio, PL-SQL, for data staging, analysis, and documentation. Documentation experience and technical writing skills to model complex business requirements into detailed, functional process flows, sequence diagrams, and use cases using tools such as MS VISIO, Team Foundation Server (TFS), and UML are required.
