General Summary:
The
position will join our Information and Automation team within the
Enterprise Storage Division, which supports our top product lines VMAX
(Cloud), VPLEX and RecoverPoint.
Successful
candidates would augment the existing application development team and
assist with a wide variety of tasks that support various business
intelligence and operational reporting functions for Product Development
organization. They will facilitate multiple strategic goals for the
team: to broaden the scope of
current development efforts, take on ownership of existing business
functions, and conduct required sustaining activities to deployed tools.
The new team member would be expected to contribute primarily in the
processing of business data and the creation of reporting tools to
generate consumable business information.
We
are looking for an experienced engineer with a passion for developing
technically challenging, high-performance server-side logic and tackling
highly complex problems with a high data volume. Candidates must have a
strong understanding of algorithms and data structures, be adept at
object-oriented programming and design, and have a proven record of
“getting things done.”

Major Responsibilities:
- Own detailed requirement definitions and major features development
- Author functional and technical specifications
- Conduct and participate in code design reviews
- Help drive effective processes, design and coding standards for software development
- Repair and maintain legacy and develop new code
- Work cross-functionally with the program management, senior leadership, and product engineering teams to deliver industry-leading solutions.
- Support business management with operational requests.
- Develop business measurement and performance indicators eco systems.
- Conduct data trending analysis and root cause to analyze information and produce corrective action recommendations.
- Development for new SharePoint tools for Engineering functions
