The
VCE Engineering Services Program Management Office has an exciting and
challenging opportunity for an experienced Solutions/Services program
manager and leader. This person
will be responsible for driving the solutions and services delivery
program management activities working collaboratively with cross
functional organizations along with leading the business transformation
of the development processes from a traditional waterfall model to a
more agile one. The Engineering
PMO leads all major programs within VCE to integrate and drive best
practices with best-of-breed products, to enable the most efficient
alignment of large-scale enterprise applications, IT workloads with a
common, physical, converged infrastructure that is easy to manage,
adapt, and scale. We are looking for energetic, passionate people to develop, execute and promote the VCE vision.
· Leads technical programs, projects and initiatives affecting area goals and objectives
· Leads multiple cross-functional program teams; responsible for the full lifecycle of solution/services products
· Monitors the execution, progress, and risks of project deliverables and overall program elements.
· Coordinates
program meetings, communicates status, readiness, business issues,
technical issues, resource requirements and their resolution across
functional organizations and management.
· Ensures the delivery teams are practicing agile methodology and engineering best practices
· Identifies and removes any impediments or obstacles that prevents program success
· Reports schedule progress, team status and issues to senior management in a timely manner
· Mentors and educates team members
· Cultivates a program team that recognizes the value of agile development and uses that recognition to continuously improve
· Maintains an awareness of industry trends and business conditions
· Fosters a culture of continuous improvement, creativity, and innovation
· Coordinates and schedules the execution of deliverables across multiple teams
· Champions
continuous improvements in processes and development techniques applied
by the delivery team and the entire development organization

Experience, Skills and Competencies
§ 10+ Years solution/services program/project management experience required
§ Deep understanding of Agile Methodologies and Tools
§ PMI certification preferred
§ Certified Scrum Master is a plus
§ Able to prioritize projects and work seamlessly with various stakeholders.
§ Able to influence others to achieve results
§ Skilled leading and working with geographically distributed teams
§ Able to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic environment
§ The ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-moving environment with competing business needs.
§ Excellent communication, leadership, time management, written, verbal, problem resolution and customer facing skills are required.
§ Possesses strong product/technology/industry knowledge
§ Experience delivering computing, storage, or networking solutions and services to the market is a major plus
§ Technical Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
