Description
Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC seeks International Country Market Specialist, First Vice President in Miami, FL
to provide a wide variety of Wealth Management financial and investment
advisory services to clients investing in the U.S. and off-shore
operations, with a specific focus on Brazil. Build
and sustain long-term relationships with global client base of high
net-worth individuals and institutional investors with respect to client
objectives. Provide clients
with individualized comprehensive brokerage services and investment
strategies in order to help clients meet short and long term financial
objectives. Communicate on a
daily basis in Portuguese with clients. Utilize Excel, Bloomberg and
Asset Allocation tools, including all Thomson Reuters tools. Maintain
and manage client accounts and transactions, structure investment
portfolios, and develop financial strategies with respect to specific
regulatory, legal, and taxation requirements, local and global market
variables. Analyze economic
trends and activity, and conduct economic and financial market analyses
for U.S. and global markets, and advise on impact on investor
portfolios. Interpret market
data against complex factors including emerging markets trends, currency
exchange control issues, inheritance laws, inflationary environments,
and local country economic variables such as local country market tax
considerations. Communicate on a daily basis in Portuguese with clients as well as traders in Brazilian market.
Maintain complex international portfolios including specific financial
needs regarding the buying and selling of stocks, bonds, mutual funds,
futures, options, swaps and other financial transactions, including
portfolios for investments in local markets in Brazil. Ensure adherence
to MSSB codes of conduct and compliance policies, procedures, and
guidelines. Interact
extensively with clients, maintain existing relationships and assess
their investment goals and impact of changing global economic
conditions.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s
degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field
or equivalent, and two (2) years of experience performing economic and
financial market analysis with respect to changing global economic
factors for high net-worth individual and institutional clients in
global markets on behalf of a global financial services institution. Prior
experience must include analyzing economic trends and activity, and
conducting economic and financial market analyses, including the local
markets in Brazil; communicating on a daily basis in Portuguese with
clients as well as traders in Brazilian market; utilizing Excel,
Bloomberg and Asset Allocation tools, including all Thomson Reuters
tools; interacting extensively
with clients, maintaining existing relationships and assessing their
investment goals and impact of changing economic conditions;
interpreting market data against complex factors including emerging
markets trends, currency exchange control issues, and inheritance laws;
maintain international portfolios including buying and selling of
stocks, bonds, mutual funds, futures, options, swaps and other financial
transactions, including portfolios for investments in local markets in
Brazil and developing financial strategies with respect to specific
regulatory, legal, and taxation requirements, local and global market
variables. Series 3, 7 and a
combination of 63 & 65 or 66 licenses required. Fluency in
Portuguese(reading, writing and speaking) is required.
