We currently are seeking a highly motivated Manager to manage client engagement teams, work with a wide variety of clients to deliver professional services, and lead business development activities on strategic and global priority accounts.

Our Solutions Enablement Core Banking Operations team focuses on a variety of business process services that help identify assess, manage and measure the organization's capabilities. Help manage and deliver functional operations from mortgage originations to servicing and secondary marketing, operational strategy, business process improvement, cost management/profitability enhancement and business integration services through the full project lifecycle from assessment through design and system implementation in several of the following areas:
  • Mortgages (Default Mgmt, Foreclosures, Loss Mitigation, Loan Origination Systems, Originations, Servicing, Fulfillment, Securitization/Secondary Markets)
  • Consumer Lending (eCommerce/Mobile Banking, Deposits, ATM, Checking etc)
  • Auto Finance
  • Credit Cards/Payments

Responsibilities
Effectively manage and motivate client engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Provide constructive on-the-job feedback/coaching to team members. Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment. Play an active role in counseling and mentoring junior consultants within the organization.
 
Foster relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels. Consistently deliver quality client services. Drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget. Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes. Manage expectations of client service delivery. Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business.
 
Cultivate and manage business development opportunities. Understand Ernst & Young and its service lines and actively assess/present ways to serve clients. Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Develop relationships with team members across all Ernst & Young practices to serve client needs. 
  
To qualify, candidates must have: 
  • a bachelor's degree and approximately 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 4 years of related work experience
  • a degree in computer science, engineering, accounting, finance or a related field; MBA or MS degree preferred
  • a minimum of 3+ years experience in Financial Services, specifically in the lending space (mortgage, consumer, auto, credit cards)
  • proven experience leading small to medium sized operations and technology change initiatives or system implementations with "brand name" consulting firms or internal consulting organizations at leading corporations
  • understanding of key technology and services vendors and products supporting the mortgage value chain
  • process and domain knowledge including mortgage loan originations, fulfillment, servicing securitization, and the secondary mortgage markets; experience with other consumer finance products (e.g., auto) beyond mortgage a plus
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills for developing client deliverables and presentations
  • ability to develop project approach, work plans, resource estimates, and cost estimates
  • effective leadership, project management and teamwork skills
  • demonstrated history of working in teams and developing junior staff
  • a willingness to travel to meet client needs
  • a valid driver's license in the US and a valid passport required; willingness and ability to travel internationally
Experience in one or more the following areas:
  • definition of business and technical requirements
  • design of business and technology architecture
  • system design and implementation support
  • system selection and proof of concept
  • data mapping and conversion
  • quality assurance and testing
  • business and IT process reengineering
  • program/project management and implementation planning (PMO)
Previous project experiences in:
  • business rules/business process management automation/workflow
  • document management automation
  • enterprise application integration
  • package Implementation
  • reconciliation redesign or improvement
Previous application/package experience in any of the following a plus:
  • EMC (Documentum)
  • Opentext
  • Pega Systems
  • Tibco
  • iLog
  • jRules
