Apple is looking for a passionate quality engineer with a solid technical background and understanding of the graphic pipeline. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining testing frameworks for Core Animation, Core Image, Quartz 2D and OpenGL/ES in the Interactive Media Group (IMG) at Apple on both iOS and OSX platforms. You will work closely with the development team and cross functional teams to ensure quality is of the highest level. Your focus will span a broad array of testing areas including: •Performance Testing •Functional Testing •API Testing You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of methodical testing strategies: •Automation of functional, performance and API testing •Creating and tracking high quality bug reports •Reporting on project progress & risk analysis

Key Qualifications

  • 2+ years of graphics development and/or testing experience
  • Experience developing unit tests, tools, automation and API tests required
  • Proficiency in shell scripting, Perl and/or Python.
  • Programming in C / Objective-C / C++
  • Proven problem solving and debugging skills
  • Solid knowledge of software testing techniques, methodologies and practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with iOS, Mac OS-X, Unix, Xcode a plus.

BS CS or equivalent.
