The Sr. Manager/Manager will be responsible for providing strategic and analytical support to gRED teams and other stakeholders in the gRED organization.Responsibilities
- Consult with development teams to provide decision analysis and other analytic and strategic support
- Support portfolio analytics and insights for key stakeholders (ESPC, CEC, IR, teams, etc.)
- Support portfolio prioritization, goal setting, Molecule Asset Planning (MAP), and Business Planning processes
- Support development molecule, pathway and disease area strategies
- Represent the function in gRED and corporate wide initiatives
- Helping to ensure decisions are aligned with portfolio priorities
- Provide problem framing and gap analyses to enable management to make informed and timely decisions, including corporate goal setting and portfolio optimization
Who You Are
Job Skills and Expectations- A strong understanding of pharmaceutical/biotech landscape, R&D trends, business strategy and markets in major disease areas
- Demonstrated success in working with biotech or Pharma management and teams in Research, Development and Commercial functions
- The ability to build cross-functional partnerships and influence without authority
- Strong analytic skills and complex problem solving ability
- The ability to draw conclusions from analytics, articulate the key findings to management and teams
- Ability to lead and facilitate cross functional teams
- Advanced degree in science, engineering, business or a related field; ideally with a degree in the life sciences
- At least 3-5 years experience in biotech, pharmaceuticals or a related field. Experience in strategic planning and analytics is strongly desirable. Experience in management consulting, market planning, investment banking, business development, R&D drug development is a plus
- Evidence of strong strategic thinking, communication, analytical, planning and organizational skills required
