Our
division - Apps, Media, and Publishing (AMP) - owns delivering
fantastic content through award winning user experiences on Windows,
Phone, and Web. The AMP Performance Team is chartered with delivering
world-class performance across all of our products. We are looking for
deep technical SDE’s who are passionate about performance. The
candidate for this position should have a strong hands-on background in
optimizing client application performance for desktop, phone, and other
devices. Launch Time, Page Load Time, Working Set, and other metrics
are what you’ll be optimizing on a day-to-day basis. You’ll have a role
in designing and implementing measurement tools, automation, and
dashboards, and you’ll partner closely with other engineering teams to
deliver on the performance mission.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze and optimize performance of apps for Windows, Phone, and other devices.
Design and implement measurement tools, automation, and dashboards.
Partner with engineering teams across the division to improve performance.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
6+ years building desktop and/or phone applications, using C++, C#, Javascript, XAML.
Excellent communication, problem solving and team collaboration skills.
