BlackRock's Retail & iShares Executive Team supports the Global Head of Retail & iShares and business / regional heads to ensure the integrated delivery of BlackRock's capabilities to our Retail, iShares and Defined Contribution clients globally. The team works closely with internal partners (including Investments, Corporate Strategy, Finance, Marketing and regional COO teams) to drive key initiatives and ensure consistent messaging and coordination of critical projects internally. Additionally, the Executive team is responsible for monitoring results, allocating resources and implementing metrics-driven sales execution to manage our business.

Responsibilities:

• Support & lead initiatives impacting the Retail & iShares business units, including cross-functional business management, governance and strategy projects.
• Drive and monitor all aspects of projects, including overall project management, content creation for specific workstreams and development of materials to measure and report results.
• Actively engage with COO teams and partners across the global offices to ensure consistent messaging and coordination of business critical initiatives
• Synthesize content across Retail & iShares and create presentation material for senior management to deliver to internal and external audiences
• Deep understanding of the quantitative and qualitative results in each client business
• Join the management team and mentor the team's junior resources

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a directly relevant field (financial services, management consulting or similar) or MBA preferred
• Superior analytical and problem solving abilities
• Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
• Ability to synthesize information, set and execute on strategic and tactical objectives
• Effective team player, results-driven and flexible
• Comfortable working across multiple functions, geographies and stakeholders across the firm
• High level of self-motivation with ability to own and drive multiple projects at once
• Excited to work in a high-paced, high visibility unit in the firm
