    The Junior Associate Director of the North America Lending Group of GE Capital Real Estate collaborates with the Director and Region Director to review commercial real estate transactions from initial deal package through closing. This includes assisting with the structuring of loan terms, applications and coordination of credit approvals, in addition to providing due diligence and underwriting support to the loan origination team.
  • Reviews initial deal packages on both structured and CMBS transactions.
  • Assists with initial structuring of loan terms, loan applications and coordination of preliminary and final loan approval.
  • Leverages and collaborates with the Director and Region Director on reviewing transactions, obtaining approvals and driving the closing process.
  • Provides due diligence and underwriting support to the loan origination team.
  • Assists with marketing efforts, including attending client events, co-managing marketing efforts on house accounts and calling on both brokers and direct borrowers.
  • Prepares investor information packages and management presentations.
  • Provides customer coverage throughout the distribution process and responsively attends to customer questions.
  • Serves as product and regional market expert, providing guidance and support to Region Manager and Directors.
  • Maintains credibility in order to influence senior leadership and external customers.
  • Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry with a solid grasp of real estate fundamentals, including market analysis and valuation process in either the underwriting or originations focus (OR in lieu of a degree a HS diploma/GED and 6+ years of experience in the commercial real estate industry with a solid grasp of real estate fundamentals, including market analysis and valuation process in either the underwriting or originations focus OR
    equivalent military experience/training)
  • Strong proficiency with MS Excel and Argus
  • Proficiency with MS Word and PowerPoint


    Eligibility Requirements:
  • MUST be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • MUST be at least 18 years of age.
  • MUST be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to, drug testing and background check.
  • MUST be willing to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • MUST be willing to work out of the Dallas, TX office.
