Our
Fraud Investigation and Dispute Services (FIDS) practice advises
corporations and their outside legal counsel on complex business matters
that involve financial, fraud and forensic investigations and economic
damages arising from disputes pertaining to intellectual property
infringement and other various matters. EY is on the cutting-edge in
current trends in fraud and forensic investigations and serves as a
quality-focused liaison between our clients and the law. Our dynamic and
talented Forensic Technology and Discovery Services (FTDS) group, a
specialty group within FIDS, is currently seeking the right candidate
for a career opportunity as a Senior Manager.
Responsibilities
Oversee multiple projects encompassing various responsibilities, including: being in a position to testify; providing oversight of the engagement strategy/approach; overseeing client deliverables; preparing final reports and testimony; ensuring that the work product complies with the client's needs; and assuming responsibility for engagement economics to achieve revenue goals. Be active in at least one professional organization.
Develop/maintain strong working relationships with key business decision makers. Collaborate to plan the engagement. Manage expectations of service. Successfully manage to the budget. Stay informed of the current litigation profession and business/economic developments relevant to the client's industry. Communicate/apply strategic objectives and policies.
Develop people. Successfully delegate to all levels of staff. Assume a leadership role in training, development, and instruction, and contribute to practice-wide recruiting efforts. Foster teamwork and innovative thinking.
Commit to developing knowledge. Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery.
Generate new business opportunities. Achieve growth by understanding EY's service lines and actively assessing/presenting opportunities for EY to provide quality services. Develop long-term relationships and networks.

To qualify, candidates must have:
- a bachelor's degree and approximately 8 years of related work experience; or a master's degree and approximately 7 years of related work experience
- at least one professional designation (e.g., CPA, CFA, CFE), or be in the process of attaining one of these professional designations if you do not have a relevant master's degree

in-depth computer fraud and forensic investigations and/or electronic discovery preferably as a manager or above with a professional services firm, a boutique firm, or a technology, communications, or entertainment company

in-depth knowledge of Relativity, Encase or other document management/collection tools
- demonstrated business development and client service skills; the ability to lead in business development, client management, communications and practice development
- demonstrated ability to manage large engagements, supervise/motivate staff, and prioritize projects
- strong financial, analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- substantial knowledge of PC-based tools, including databases (Access) and spreadsheets (Excel)
- a valid driver's license in the United States, and ability and willingness to travel
Current contacts with industry CEO's, COO's, and CFO's are a plus.
