Job description

This role is responsible for successful delivery of IBM's largest and most complex client commitments. This role requires an extraordinary team leader, an astute business person, exhibit exceptional business insight, show executive/boardroom presence, outstanding judgment and excellent executive level oral and written communications skills. Position requires leading a team of Project Managers responsible for multimillion dollar infrastructure and data center relocation projects in support of large-scale enterprise changes. The assigned Project Managers will lead large matrix teams of system design engineers, system build engineers, DC relocation engineers and infrastructure technologists to successfully deliver significant infrastructure change in a large-scale enterprise environment. Previous experience of server / storage platforms, network and data center relocations is required along with experience and knowledge in the implementation of processes and tools for incident, problem and change, SLA measurements and reporting, disaster recovery, asset management, security, service/help desk, desk side support, server management tools, Global resourcing and HR boarding. Position requires successful completion of IBM Project Management Certification within 18 months.
