Large international investment firm looking for a trading application support analyst to join a small but growing technology group in Chicago.

This person will start as a full time senior level support engineer but will have the opportunity to move into a lead type of position down the line.
Responsibilities

• Day to day production support to the North American trading environment
• Responsible for the stability and maintenance of the production environment
• Supporting third party trading applications- CQG, TT, PATS
• Incident, problem, and change management processes
• Work closely with the business to provide IT solutions

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of production support experience in a trading environment
• Excellent communication skills- ability to speak to trading and business side
• High level database experience SQL skills (DB2 or Sybase helpful)
• High level Unix/Linux skills
• Shell scripting skills
• FIX protocol experience
• Financial experience a MUST- futures trading industry a must
• Strong leadership skills and ambition to potentially move into a management role/lead type role in the future
