The
HealthVault team has an opening on the Platform PM team for someone
interested in playing a key role in building connected health
experiences.
HealthVault provides a technology platform for enabling much needed innovation around the world in healthcare.

Primary responsibilities:
Define, build and ship HealthVault features in various platform areas including:
• Connectivity APIs for integrating clinical health systems, kiosks, web services, etc.
• Data access APIs for creating, querying, and synchronizing health data
• Platform SDKs for Windows 8, WinPhone, iOS, .NET, Java, Android, etc.
• Authentication (Microsoft account, Facebook, Azure AD, Google account, etc.)
• Data access permissions and authorization
• Event notification infrastructure
• Medical imaging, secure messaging, industry data formats, and other healthcare infrastructure
Engage with top-tier Microsoft health care customers and industry partners and represent their perspective within the engineering team.
Research the worldwide personal health and clinical health space to stay up to date on the latest trends, technology and initiatives.
Drive HealthVault presence with big-breadth activities including conferences and web casts.
Qualifications:
7+ years in an engineering/product capacity shipping software products
Experience with several full product cycles designing, implementing or shipping production software.
Deep experience with one of: API design, distributed systems, databases, security infrastructure
Outstanding interpersonal and technical communication skills including with executive-level audiences.
Spirit of innovation and building technology
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
Desired:
Proficient with one of: C#, C++, Java, Objective-C or another high-level language
Experience with enterprise architecture, cloud services, mobile platforms
Building and maintaining technical relationships
