Scale Attendant Seasonal






  • Coordinate the unloading of approximately 300 fruit trucks per day during fruit season.

  • Coordinate the weighing of full tanker trucks and provide directions to delivery points in the plant (100+ trucks per day)

  • Coordinate the weighing of empty juice tankers and feed trucks coming into the plant to pick up products (30 to 60 per day with department-produced bills of lading)

  • Coordinate the weighing and transfer of incoming supplies and scrapmetal as well as in-plant transfers

  • Other assigned duties such as reporting, coordination of documentation, verifications of scale accuracy and coordination of State Lab and other departments















  • High School diploma or GED required

  • Minimum 1 year computer experience in a business environment

  • Must be able to work off-shifts, weekends and overtime

  • Must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment

  • Must have the ability to become licensed and bonded by the State of Florida

  • Must be able to learn and manage various systems such as Automatic Data Collection (ADC), IBM Mainframe, Bin Automation, SAP and Microsoft Office applications

  • Must possess basic analytical skills, good skills in computers, math and prioritizing and oral and written communication skills

  • Must also have excellent customer service skills
