The Operations Resource (Manager) is responsible for maintenance team management, on-the-floor troubleshooting, maintenance account management, parts room stock and project engineering support. In this role, you will be accountable to the team members for removing obstacles, solving problems, setting direction and empowering a team of 10-20 persons to achieve their performance improvement results. The Operations Resource (Manager) also acts as a technical resource for site to help achieve manufacturing goals in the areas of safety, cost, quality and service to customers. Also serves as the site resource conservation & site security point while acting as the environmental coordinator manager.
Qualified Candidates Will Possess:
· Computer Skills: software, programming, and hardware knowledge, including Ladder-Logic, Tuning-Loops, and troubleshooting and repair experience
· Instrumentation skills (RTD, valves, level sensors, VFD programming)
· Basic Electrical and Blueprint reading skills (3 phase and control power wiring and troubleshooting, electrical diagram reading)
· Project management and organizational skills
· Experience with expectation setting and progressive discipline
· Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and the ability to give and take direction
· Strong Problem-solving skills
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
Position
Requirements:
· Bachelors degree in Operations Management, Logistics, or Engineering required
· 3+ years experience supervising in a maintenance organization
· Fluent with maintenance scheduling software (CMMS)
· Experience with 3 phase power systems, PLC controls, general trouble shooting and PM programs
· Demonstrated people and leadership skills with track record of achieving positive business results
· Ability to work in a fast paced, high intensity environment
· Ability to support off shifts as required
Physical Requirements:
· Frequent standing, sitting, and walking
· Ability to lift up to 20 pounds (occasionally)
· Must be able to see (depth perception, near acuity, and far acuity) and hear
Must be able to maneuver safely around moving equipment and/or in congested manufacturing areas
· Must be able to tolerate extreme temperatures (hot and/or cold depending upon season and plant location)
· Must pass a drug screen and background check
· Must be able to wear personal protective equipment including safety glasses, ear plugs/muffs, steel toed shoes, rubber gloves/boots, etc.
· Must tolerate exposed to various packaging materials, raw ingredients, seasonings, cleaning chemicals, lubricants, etc.
