Program Mgr I - Technology (Job Number: 1312510)

Description

The job holder manages the planning, organizing and implementation of programs. S/he is responsible for the coordinated management of multiple related projects, and in many cases, ongoing operations which are directed toward a common objective. S/he works with constituent Project Managers to manage overall costs, schedule, and technical performance of component projects and operations, while working to ensure the ultimate success of the program. S/he is responsible for stakeholder management, including stakeholders external to the organization. S/he facilitates Steering Committee and regular program team status meetings and all other communications. The Program Manager is accountable for the overall management and delivery of the program on behalf of business, operations and IT.

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years related experience required. Job holder must have extensive experience with managing client expectations and communicating effectively with senior management and executive management. Must have experience coordinating work across multiple disciplines or organizations and be adept at building consensus across organizational and functional lines. Deep level experience and understanding of system development methodologies. B.S. or B.A. or equivalent work experience required. Project Management Institute Project Management Certification (PMP) and Program Management Professional (PgMP ) preferred.
