Production Support Spec IV (Job Number: 1309515)

Description

The job holder supervises production support activities for all major systems and related subsystems to ensure the integrity of computer generated data, regardless of platform. This will include a liaison with vendors for code running on their systems. S/he provides application recovery , technical support and helps to develop and enforce data center standards. She coordinates activities with the computer operations department and user departments and directs application change management functions.

Qualifications

Minimum 7+ years experience required. Job holder must have in-depth knowledge of multiple applications in production scheduling, control procedures and maintaining processing service deliverables, on multiple platforms and in multiple environments (e.g. in house and out of house). S/he must be able to interpret and administer company's technology standards and evaluate production documentation for compliance. Job holder must have prior experience with effectively managing changes to the production environment and troubleshooting technical malfunctions, and effectively resolve technical issues, including root cause analysis. The recognition and implementation of quality and productivity standards and their effective reporting is also required.
