This role will have the responsibility of writing test plans, test cases, preparing test beds, performing system and integration tests and providing test reports for reviews. Assignments may include, but are not limited to: set up and running of data acquisition equipment for tests, carrying out experiments, troubleshooting, and reporting/documenting results of tests and measures, lead compliance and quality activities, and train other team members.
• Recommend, instruct, design and conduct experiments and diagnostic tests to develop conclusions and solutions.
• Verification and validation of software/firmware components of the system. Work with software/firmware/hardware teams in requirements gathering/analysis, preparation of test plan & procedures.
• Carry out electrical and electronics test, functional testing using a wide range of electrical test equipment.
• Estimation, planning and execution of tests for product releases.
• Write test scripts for automating the test execution using tools like labview.
• Ensure on-time test execution and maintain the test reports and other relevant test documentation.
• Building and maintaining test setups.
• Familiar with standards such as IEC 60601, IEC 61000, CISPR11, IEC62304, IEC529, and MIL461
• Able to read circuit diagrams and have the technical background to feedback issues to design engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, plus 2 years of relevant electronic component testing experience or 5 years of relevant experience and an Associate’s degree in a related discipline.
• Proven track record of developing and executing system level testing
