Great opportunity for a mid-senior level sales person in New York City

Leading house looking to add a senior sales person to cover Institutional accounts  (Insurance companies, Mutual funds, Asset manager’s ) to their sales team in New York City and Miami. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years sales experience on a fixed income / foreign exchange emerging market desk to US based OR Local ( Latin American / CEE ) institutions.  The focus of the role will be to sell Emerging Market multi-Asset products, so a strong generalist product knowledge is essential

 

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and develop relationships with clients
• Take orders and execute on behalf of clients for emerging market credit bond sales
• Improve levels of business passing through desk within emerging markets, improving profitability
• Focus on institutional accounts USA or LATAM
• Advise clients and provide them with trade ideas.

                    

Skills / Attributes:

• Minimum 5 years industry emerging market fixed income / foreign exchange sales experience
• Must have market knowledge and experience in the industry
• Ability to work under pressure and within an international environment
• Proven track record of impressive revenues generated from Emerging Market Fixed Income / Foreign Exchange sales
