IT Desktop Support Specialist (Job Number: 1311435)
Description
Regional Services has about 500 users and or devices at multiple sites in the Dallas/Irving area needing a Desktop Support Specialist. Successful candidate will have 4 - 5 years technical experience as outlined below and 1 - 2 years project experience.
Qualifications
Provide Tier 2 support for desktop and laptop hardware, Windows XP and 7 and software issues. Troubleshooting, escalating or resolving issues (in person or remotely) in a timely and accurate fashion meeting or exceeding established resolution SLAs.
Image and configure computers, install software and applications, including operating system services, productivity tools (including Microsoft Office) and proprietary software. Deliver and or relocate workstations.
Understanding of basic networking and active directory
Ability to comprehend, implement and adhere to SOPs and Risk Management policies in a Financial Services environment.
Assist other groups as the hands on liaison for Server and Infrastructure equipment changes.
Assist with Large building restacks and or site to site relocations
