- Accurately prepare financial statements inclusive of all required disclosures based on Investment Company U.S. GAAP.
- Coordinate distribution of financial statements: Assemble financial statements draft, all supporting documentation and calculations.
- Utilize Financial Reporting applications and financial statement templates. Identify and resolve issues as they arise. Suggest process improvements (enhanced automation, etc.).
- Prepares client-specific reports (scheduled and ad-hoc).
- Prepares and files regulatory forms (ex: N-SAR, N-Q, 24F-2).
- Prepares and/or accumulates complete and accurate audit work papers.
- Recommend and implement enhancements to procedures based on knowledge and experience obtained during preparation process.
- Applies a solid understanding of all policies and procedures and follows them.
- Completes additional assignments requiring a heightened response and/or elevated technical ability.
- Effectively communicate w/various groups in an articulate and professional manner.
- BA/ BS Preferably in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business field.
- 1+ years related financial services experience (Fund Accounting experience preferred).
- Strong software skills (i.e. MS Excel, Word); Bloomberg and MCH a plus.
- Candidate must be detail oriented.
- Demonstrated time management skills.
- Ability to work in a deadline oriented group with peak period workflow.
