Position
Deutsche Bank’s Commercial Real Estate Group is seeking a Financial Analyst, who will be responsible for supporting the bank’s capital commitment with respect to commercial real estate lending activities, including assisting in the credit underwriting of commercial real estate transactions,, administering internal and regulatory mandated compliance procedures, and performing certain risk management procedures. A successful applicant will work closely with senior management, senior credit analysts, and compliance and operations specialists for the purposes of supporting certain loan origination, warehouse financing and specialized securitization product lines within the commercial real estate group.

Requirements
- BA/BS in finance, business administration or real estate finance
- One to Three years of mortgage underwriting in a commercial real estate environment or credit analysis in a commercial lending environment
- Demonstrated analytical, cash flow modeling and conceptual skills
- Strong credit & risk analysis skills, presentation skills and Microsoft Office and Excel spreadsheet skills
- Strong knowledge of loan structuring with ability to balance bank objectives and borrower expectations
- Review borrower financial statements, rent rolls, market comparable data, etc for prospective mortgage loans
- Create financial models used to evaluate the strength of borrower’s cash flow and the property’s viability to provide for primary and secondary sources of repayment of mortgage loan, as well as models to assess refinance risk
- Facilitate compliance procedures for on boarding borrowers within the Bank
- Prepare credit memos and investor Asset Summary Reports for all loans scheduled to close
- Update a variety of internal risk management and pipeline status reports

- Ability to work on various ad hoc projects related to the capital markets function
- Ability to work in a complex environment as a significant idea contributor and team player in situations involving multiple geographic and financial markets
- Ability to work independently, yet communicate effectively in a team oriented environment.
