Provide Client transition project support from the client contract signing until the client conversion is complete. - Support, consult and update our Client's Relationship Managers on all aspects of transition related activity.
- Anticipate, indentify and resolve potential issues or roadblocks that may delay transition or impact seamless execution.
- Build and maintain relationships with the Client's Relationship Management, Client's Trade Floor, Client's Legal & Compliance Departments, Custodian Banks, Brokers/Counterparties (across all fixed income, derivative and collateral product groups) and all internal IMS Departments.
- Interact with Internal and External parties to resolve various issues and discrepancies. Key factor in company branding and reputation.
- Arrange and/or attend and participate in conference calls which can include sensitive or confidential Client interaction.
- Become and remain familiar with backup procedures when system applications and/or transmission problems arise.
- Participate in system release and disaster recovery testing.
- Process complex new account set-ups.
- Process complex custodian changes.
- Process complex In-kind Subscriptions & Redemptions.
- Process complex closing accounts.
- Build complex model accounts for Trade Floor analysis typically for transition related events.
- Address and answer all ad hoc reporting/inquiries promptly.
- Equivalent to a B.S. degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
- At least three years related work experience, preferably in the areas of investment accounting/reconciliation, trade processing, pricing and/or settlements of all fixed income types including bank loans, swaps, futures, options, collateral, etc.
- Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills, with experience managing client relations.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong technology skills, including advanced MS Excel, VBA experience helpful.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent math skills.
