Job Summary

The Supply Fulfillment Project Manager is responsible for the successful management of all non-inventory supplies in all of Apple’s reseller channel programs globally.

Key Qualifications

  • 5-10 years fulfillment or equivalent experience required. Experience managing in a high volume, fast paced environment.
  • 5+ years experience in logistics industry with hands on experiences in international freight management. Understanding of customs practices, import/export regulations.
  • Track record of successful budget management in excess of 1M or more.
  • Strong Operations and Finance background required
  • Excellent communication, planning and analytical skills necessary as well as an understanding of the brand and general product knowledge.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Keynote, Filemaker and project management applications.
  • Ability to be flexible and react efficiently to changes in schedules or direction in a professional manner while not sacrificing productivity.
  • 5+ years project management experience
  • Distribution, sourcing, or inventory management background preferred
  • Some travel required both domestic and international (approximately 10-20%)

Description

- Source, manage, and evaluate global and regional supply vendors. Work closely with Corporate Procurement to negotiate vendor pricing, produce vendor contracts, and perform quarterly business reviews. - Understand Apple’s reseller channel programs and work closely with sales to customize support structure specific to reseller partner. - Work closely with Finance and other cross-functional partners to evaluate financial impacts of each supply initiative. Maintain ownership of the geo-specific budgets; including the worldwide total supply spend. - Manage level of supply inventory for all programs worldwide. Manage special projects such as consumables related to new program launch, refresh, etc. - Act as project manager for all new initiatives requiring new catalog items and revisions. Understanding of Graphic Design, Marketing, and PR Worlds helpful. - Constant analysis of where Channel Operations can improve in the areas of store support, in stock levels and cost control.

Education

- Bachelors degree preferred
