Job Summary

The WW Operations Modules team is seeking an Operations Program Manager to help lead the fast-paced development and launch of Apple’s new products. A successful OPM is a natural leader and facilitator; is driven, organized and detail oriented; is adept at facilitating actions and resolving conflicts; and communicates with ease at all levels; and, is a great team player.

Description

You will lead the WW Technical operations core team for a particular module and other functional organizations within Apple to drive overall module readiness for new products. Collaborate with the Module EPM, Module Engineering team, GSMs and the technical operations team in the development of modules (Examples include: Camera, Speaker, Battery, Connectors, Trackpad, etc) Lead regular reviews and collaboration with Operations and Engineering team to ensure module alignment with overall system schedule Drive and track closure on any module issues that impact overall product readiness Lead on-site reviews of module readiness for development builds and production ramp Support module builds through development to ramp Manage all module-related communication to executive management Highlight key module risk to management and clearly explain path to resolution Drive module health updates for new product reviews Consolidate and report on supply chain metrics and timelines such as Risk Releases, Module Change lists, Exceptions from Production Intent, and Post-Ramp Qualification requirements Continue to refine project management tools and processes to improve efficiency within and between teams

Education

BS or MS degree in Engineering preferred MBA a plus

Additional Requirements

5+ years of industry experience in one or more of the following disciplines: New Product Introduction / Supply Chain / Manufacturing Operations Experience working with off-shore manufacturers and traveling to manufacturing sites Ownership/Leadership mindset Grasp complex technical topics and abstract key issues and risks into an actionable form for executive management ; developing solid plans to mitigate Ability to create and deliver presentations for executive audiences Positive attitude facing complex situations to reach constructive win-win solution Fluency in Mandarin a plus Expected travel is 20%.
