As a Manager, Corporate Strategy you provide leadership in the planning, designing, due diligence, and implementation of strategic business objectives. You are responsible for developing key strategy themes for discussions with the executive teams, drive corporate strategy development and management process, and collaborate with cross function teams to ensure consistent communication and execution. see   https://careers.netapp.com

Essential Functions:
• Understand the overall NetApp business strategy in consideration of strategic business opportunities including:
o Market and industry landscape and dynamics
o Key industry and technology trends
o Major players and competitors
o Key evaluation criteria of build vs partner vs buy
• Perform research and data analysis as needed by project.
• Lead and direct multiple processes for project management and cross function alignment.
• Work independently with senior executives to gain buy-in and support on project findings
• Develop key messages and presentation to communicate strategy messages to internal and external audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; especially presentation skills.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to lead virtual teams and work cross-funtion.
• Strong experience in business and strategy development for high tech companies.
• Strong knowledge of high tech industry and markets.
Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Management and Interaction:
• Management:
o The focus of this role is on creating and influencing strategy and policy.
o The potential impact of decisions made by this individual has significant operational or financial impact.
o This individual will apply in-depth knowledge to solve broad issues that are complex in scope, and establish medium to long- range plans.

• Interaction:
o This individual must work effectively with Staff to Vice President level employees and employees within and outside of their function and organization.
o Utilizes people skills and available people manager tools to critically impact the growth of an individual within the company and career.
o This individual must demonstrate favorable results through providing leadership to the function.
• A minimum of 7-10 years of experience as an individual contributor and a minimum of 5 years as a people manager is required.
• A Bachelor of Sciences Degree required with a focus in Business or Technology; an MBA is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of storage technology industry and market preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, critical projects is required.
