Job Summary
The
Wireless Technologies team is looking for a highly motivated Software
Engineer to help develop our next generation of iOS products. The
successful candidate will need strong system software fundamentals,
embedded systems and object-oriented programming experience, and a
desire to work with an amazing team to develop ground-breaking products.
An ability to drive initiatives, track issues, and prioritize on a
daily basis is a requirement. Must thrive in a fast-paced environment
and enjoy both solving problems and delivering high-quality software.
Key Qualifications
- 5 years of experience developing software for cellular mobile devices including 2 years of SIM or secure element development experience
- Understanding of Global Platform specifications and SIM standards (e.g. ETSI TS 102.221)
- Knowledge of standardization process is a plus
- Experience in smart card security is a plus
- Development experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) is a plus
Description
In
this position, you will have the opportunity to develop next-generation
software in both the baseband and application processor environments.
Your work will involve telephony, SIM, security, and protocol software.
You will also spend some time working with vendors on software
deliverables and integration. Your contributions will make a clear
difference to future iOS products.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or similar
