PURPOSE
Work
closely with global clients and other functional groups by providing
scientific leadership for observational research on the natural history
of disease and comparative safety and effectiveness of medical
treatment. Design methodologically sound studies to meet project
objectives and regulatory requirements. Conduct and supervise analyses,
evaluation and reporting of studies.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Serves as project lead or in support of project lead on client facing or internal projects

Authorship
of protocols, reports and other study documents with independent,
critical thinking to ensure quality and completeness of output, oversees
timeline for deliverables associated with analysis and reporting

Independently generate content and direction for business development proposals with input from senior staff as needed

Interaction with clients as appropriate, with senior staff involvement as needed
-
Preparation
of abstracts, manuscripts and oral presentations, including development
of slides and posters for presentation of project results at regional
and national meetings

May lead development of analysis and/or workplans for suitable projects with input from senior staff as needed
-
Represent Scientific Affairs at Bid Defenses and conferences

Identify client-related, budget-related and internal issues that may require attention or escalation
