Job Description	The New York Metro Region seeks an ambitious and strategic minded individual with outstanding project management and interpersonal skills to join the team as the Regional Construction Manager.   This individual is responsible for all construction issues within the region including new restaurant construction, remodeling and site maintenance.  This position reports to the Regional Development Director, and customers include the General Manager, Owner Operators, and Staff.
Responsibilities	§  Creates, manages, and executes the development plan to meet portfolio returns with the Development Team. §  Assesses the site development processes to identify improvement opportunities and to customize processes based on the needs of the development team. §  Along with the Real Estate Manager, implements the P.M.O. process within development, and contributes to the regional plan. §  Communicates and implements corporate policies and procedures. §  Manages and evaluates the Regional Construction Department Staff, including recruiting, retaining, training, developing, and coaching. §  With the Real Estate Manager, fosters the Development Team approach within the region. §  Manages and makes adjustments to maintain an even workload among staff members while meeting department and regional goals. §  Ensures quality control standards for construction (e.g., cost, time). §  Evaluates low-cost-best-value for all building, site and construction costs. §  Aligns department goals with the Regional, Division and Corporate strategies. §  Creates and manages departmental budget.
Minimum Requirements	· Bachelor’s Degree (construction management, project management or equivalent field) preferred · Ability to plan and act strategically · Experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously · Excellent negotiation skills
