Responsible for daily control adherence for
Regulatory and Compliance programs. The programs include: Adverse
Action letters; Deceased paperwork; NCOA file changes form US Post
Office; Daily reconciliation of letters produced by the system and
manual ad-hoc letters. Will represent Team cross functionally with
other Bank Departments to ensure the Bank's adherence to all compliance
measures.
Oversees
the Adverse Action process to ensure completion, either manually or in
an automated delivery; which may required oversight of the Business
Control Associate's output.
Engages with Customers and other Bank Departments to
processes decedent paperwork and follows up on any outstanding questions
on decedent or dormant accounts.
Monitors address verifications and changes based upon the
file received from the US Post Office, including returned mail.
Interacts with AML/CIP (Anti-Money Laundering/Customer Information
Policy) Compliance and Risk Departments to identify and resolve Bank
policy concerns.
Reviews letter output totals to mail totals to the system
totals of letters that should have been produced for proper Compliance
Adherence and resolve any discrepancies daily.
Monitors Reg O , Reg D Excessive and Abusive Transactions, and Reg E disputes and complaints in compliance with GECRB guidelines
Ensures fulfillment of all manual or automated requests
for: Subpoenas, Garnishments, Levies, Search and Seizure Warrants, and
Guardianship/Court Ordered Accounts , per GECRB guidelines.
Utilizes Case Management System to identify accounts that
have had documentation sent to customers for completion; sends cases to
multiple departments including Risk, Operations and Call Center to
obtain additional information to complete the process.
Ensures completion of Statements and Letters production,
delivery and surveillance, including Letter Volume reconciliation, Email
statement notification bounce-back, Statement message changes, inserts
of notice, Rapid letter changes, File delivery failures, Process
break-down, and Print service reporting per GECRB guidelines.
Responsible to ensure the Department meets daily deliverables, working
with Business Associates.
Performs other related duties as assigned or required.
Associate's
Degree and 3+ years of experience in the financial services industry;
OR 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
Minimum of 3 year of experience with bank processing or other financial systems (i.e. Fidelity, E-Funds, or similar systems)
Work experience with MS Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

3 -5 yrs. of relevant experience
Detail-oriented; able to review & understand account, and file documentation, correspondence, etc.
Previous related work experience in a bank or other financial services company
Dormant/Escheatment Rules, Levy, and Decedent processing.
Minimum of 2 year of experience with related regulations
including Reg CC and UCC, Patriot Act, Reg. D. Reg. E and
Dormant/Escheatment Rules, Levy, and Decedent processing.
Basic knowledge of accounting
Bachelor's degree in business or related field
