My client is a globally top performing firm that is currently looking to add a Superstar C++ technologist to their Electronic Trading Applications team as a VP to assist in the expansion and enhancement of the framework for their electronic trading applications across the firm. The team is a core team that works on the development, libraries, and core framework of all asset classes. This person will be reporting to the ED directly to ensure the requirements and performance of the applications that they will be working on. This particular group is looking for the strongest technologist to come on and act as a natural leader to improve the efficiency and optimize the systems to its fullest potential.

Key Responsbilities:
Collaborate with the ED of the group to work on the firm-wide trading applications
Work on the development of the core infrastructure, libraries, and messaging across all asset classes
Speak with other key stakeholders to fully understand the requirements of the system to optimize performance

Key Qualifications:
5+ years of C++ Development
TCP/IP
Multithreading
Low-latency (preferred)
Middleware
Financial background is not required nor preferred
