The MCD/IT Restaurants department is in search of a highly motivated and enthusiastic Business Technical Analyst for the Global Deployment Services team.
The Global Deployment Services team is responsible for making products easier to deploy into restaurants and continually works toward improving deployment methods, tools and standards.
This position will manage the Deployment Services Lab, and the responsibilities include (but are not limited to) overall lab management/coordination, equipment staging and configuration, troubleshooting, upgrade regression testing, create user how-to documentation, provide input on systems architecture, and work with other ITR teams to create solutions to evolve the current processes.
The person in this role would have a personal curiosity to learn and master the technology used at McDonalds and how to remotely deploy software to the restaurants.  
• Be able to quickly evolve into the role of the team’s subject matter expert of McDonald’s POS (NP6) platform and our process for remotely upgrading the software in our restaurants.
• Facilitates "hands-on" solution installation, testing and lab setup including working with global teams to assist in testing and configuration efforts
• Coordinate and/or execute plans to ensure that technical solutions meet the needs of the business.  
• Creates and/or reviews manuals, how-to procedures and related user documentation.  Ensures documentation is targeted to the appropriate audience
• Manage the Deployment Services lab and ensure its reservation system is well organized.
· 5-7 years of experience in Information Technology and Business Technical Analysis.
· Deep comfort and practiced expertise with Windows Operations systems including Windows Server 2003, Server 2008, Windows Embedded, and Windows 7
· Understanding of software installation processes on Windows Operation Systems
· Experience with POS Systems, .NET, Java, C# and other related technologies highly desirable.
· Practical networking experience in a large scale environment including a clear understanding of network security
· Experience with Microsoft Office including Visio, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
· Familiarity of remote operating system deployments to a geographically distributed client base
· Strong written and oral communication skills. A desire to discuss and debate technology solutions
· A solid foundation of troubleshooting software and system errors
· Certification, Understanding or desire to utilize ITIL/MOF IT process
· Understanding of Active Directory, its structure and uses in an enterprise
· Have experience working as a critical resource on project teams.  Experience in estimating/planning and setting technical direction and ensures that project deliverables meet McDonalds’ quality standards.
